Last night, while Caitlin was playing, she suddenly stopped and touched my tummy. Sabay sabi ng...
"brother dito, brother dito"
Naku!

Every night, hubby and I take turns sleeping beside our little girl. So, our setup every night is -- one of us sleeps with Caitlin in our main bed while the other sleeps on the folding bed that we place beside our bed. Most of the time, Caitlin likes her dad to sleep beside her.
And then last night, before bedtime, hubby and I asked our little girl.
Me & Hubby: "Caitlin, sino gusto mong katabi matulog?"
Caitlin: "Mommy!"
Aaawww!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Pinalo ni Caitlin si Papa Ning.
Papa Ning: "Caitlin, that's not nice. Gusto mong paluin kita?"
Aba! Nagpapapalo talaga!
So, para maniwala si little girl sa sinabi ng Lolo, pinalo nga ang kamay nya. After nya mapalo, sabi ni little girl,
"Bad, Papa Ning!"
Nyahahaha! Si Papa Ning pa ang naging bad!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Nagmalling sina Papa Ning, Mama Sit and Caitlin.
Caitlin: "Gukom (gutom), Papa Ning"
Papa Ning: "Sige, saan mo gusto kumain - KFC, McDonald's or Jollibee?"
Caitlin: "PITA! (PIZZA!)"
Hahaha!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Hubby: "Caitlin, gusto mo ng baby sister?"
Caitlin: "Ayaw!"
Me: "Eh baby brother?"
Caitlin: "Ayaw!"
Hubby: "Ano gusto mo?"
Caitlin: "Baby dog!"

Hubby's Name on Honda F1 Race Car
Posted by ceztlavie at 8:20 AM
Hubby is a Formula1 fanatic. Kahit tapos na or hindi pa nagsisimula ang season, well updated sya with news about Formula1.
Before the season started this year, hubby learned about the Honda Team's effort to raise awareness of environmental issues. To quote:
"This year, our car will race to raise awareness of environmental issues and to encourage people everywhere to make a difference to the world around them.
By pledging to make small changes to our lifestyle and supporting our environmental partners, we can all make our Earth dreams a reality > OUR CAR IS YOUR CAR." ~ www.myearthdream.com
And of course, he pledged!

to throw a brick at you to get your attention.
God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts.
Sometimes when we don't have time to listen,
He has to throw a brick at us.
It's our choice to listen or not.

Caitlin Anecdote #1
On the way home from our swimming excursion last week, walang tigil sa pagdaldal si little girl. From Laguna to (Market! Market!) C-5, daldal sya ng daldal.
Anyway, when we were about to enter South Luzon Expressway (from Laguna), natahimik si Caitlin sandali.
Ninong Noel: "Hay tumahimik din. Thank you!"
Caitlin: "Welcome!"
Hahaha!!!

Caitlin Anecdote #2
Yesterday, mag-a-attend ng 1st birthday party sina Ninong Noel and Tita Waw.
Caitlin (with her cute smile and hands clasped in front of her): "Ninong, sama please"
Aaawww!

Swimming at Laguna
Posted by ceztlavie at 3:59 PM
Thursday, March 15, 2007
Last Sunday (03/11/2007), we went on an out of town trip. Waw's family rented a private pool in Laguna and we were invited to join them. It was Caitlin's first swimming excursion.
We left QC at 5:30 in the morning. Caitlin was still asleep so we just carried her (still in her pajamas). We made a stop at Shell along South Luzon Expressway to have breakfast at Jollibee. We arrived at AquaMarc private pool/resort at around 7:30am.
The place had an adult pool and 1 kiddie pool. The house had 4 bedrooms, 2 of which were airconditioned. There was a spot where we can grill/barbecue. There was also a hall that has a small kitchen, a big dining area and a videoke machine.
We rested for a few minutes then changed and plunged in!
Here's Caitlin with Tita Waw
The gang
We stayed in the pool until around 10-10:30am. I didn't want Caitlin (and myself) to get sunburnt.
Lunch was served around 11:30am. We had chicken and pork barbecue, inihaw na tilapia, pakbet, kaldereta, ang mangga't bagoong. Yum!
After lunch, the kids took a nap. To pass time, some of us decided to play cards while the others showed of their singing talents via videoke.
Time to swim again!
Look, Mommy, I'm swimming!

Waw, superwoman ka ba?

Isa pa!
We really had fun! Si Caitlin, ayaw paawat sa kaka-swimming.
Sa uulitin! =)

~*~*~*~
THE BASICS:
1. What is your (screen) name, and why did you choose that as your screen name?
~ Cez - I didn't choose. Yan talaga ang nickname ko.
2. How long have you been married? Have kids?
~ 3 years, 5 months, 3 days. We only have Caitlin now but we're planning to have another one maybe late this year or next year.
3. What is your favorite color? And how has your color preference influenced your life (if it has)? ~ Pink and lilac. We even used these colors as motif during our wedding back in 2003.
4. What are your hobbies?
~ If I have time, I like reading books and magazines.
5. What is your motto in life?
~ Currently, it's "Patience is a virtue".
6. Do you have pets?

7. What are the three adjectives that best describe your spouse?
~ Quiet, Responsible, Faithful
8. Give three songs that best describe you.
~ Wala pa akong maisip. To follow na lang.
9. What satisfies you about the work that you do?
~ The fact that I can go home at 5-5:30pm (no pressures of overtime, unless kailangan talaga).
10. Do you blog? Where? Can we visit?
~ Yes, here. Welcome!
CHIKAHAN:
1. Define Love.
~ As taken from a slumbook years back... "Love is a special feeling that can only begin when you open up your heart and let somebody in". O di ba?! :P
2. Kakaibang talento mo.
~ Wala akong maisip. To follow na lang uli.
3. Share your adobo recipe.
Simmer for a few minutes. Serve.
4. Describe your current screensaver.
~ Pareho kami ni Jen... Windows logo
5. During your teenage years, what fad/s did you follow? Why?
~ Tall, teased bangs, high-cut rubber shoes, acid-washed jeans

~ Fortunately, I never had my heart broken. And I hope I won't ever.
7. If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?
~ Like Mama Meeya, I would like to have the power to heal para madali kong mapapagaling kung sino man may sakit sa family ko, lalo na si Caitlin.
8. What frightens you about getting old?
~ Being old and alone.
9. Do you have a guilty pleasure?
~ Currently, it's makeup. Other than that, it would be bags and wallets. Shoes din!
10. What's your favorite chore?
~ I actually don't like doing chores. But if I had to choose, it would be washing the dishes.
11. Describe your wedding ring.
~ It's a two-toned band with a single diamond stud.
12. If you could have a tattoo, what would it look like?
~ A butterfly.
13. What book would you like to be made into a movie? Who would you like to star in it?
~ I'd like to see any of the Shopaholic books be made into a movie (mas ok kung lahat). I just don't know who would be the best actress to play the role of Becky.

~ To follow. Pag-isipan ko muna 'to :P
15. What qualities are important to you in friendship?

QUALIFIED TRUE OR FALSE:
1. First love never dies.

4. Women are moodier than men.
~ FALSE. Case in point: my hubby. (shhh...)
5. James Yap is innocent (Sorry Kris!).
~ MAYBE.
6. 80s fashion is coming back.
~ I don't know.
7. Angels.
~ TRUE. They help keep us safe.
8. Good and bad luck come in threes.
~ FALSE (or I just don't count them. hehehe...)
9. Destiny.
~ TRUE. Sabi nga, God writes in crooked lines.
10. It is better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.
~ TRUE. May sense ba? Hehehe...
TIPS:
1. What is your favorite skin care product?
~ Right now, it's Oil of Olay Total Effects. Hahaha!)

You Will Be a Cool Parent |
You seem to naturally know a lot about parenting, and you know what kids need. You can tell when it's time to let kids off the hook, and when it's time to lay down the law. While your parenting is modern and hip, it's not over the top. You know that there's nothing cool about a parent who acts like a teenager... or a drill sergeant! |
