My 4D Ultrasound Experience
Posted by ceztlavie at 3:34 PM
I was supposed to have my 4D ultrasound last February. Kaso, I had threatened preterm labor and na-hospitalize ako so we decided to cancel it. I was 5 months pregnant then.
I really wanted to have the 4D ultrasound.
So, a couple of weeks ago, we decided to set another appointment sa Fortmed (kahit wala na yung promo nila). I called them up and set an appointment for April 22. Sabi ng nakausap ko, tamang-tama lang daw yung time to have the ultrasound kasi 7 months pregnant na ako.
Last Friday, nag-halfday na ako. Si hubby, di na pumasok. Our appointment was at 3pm pero we arrived 15 minutes early. O di ba?! Super excited kami!
When we got there, we were asked to fill out a registration form and to wait at the waiting area (malamang... wait nga eh. Hahahaha!!!). Then, tinawag na kami and were lead to the radiology department, then to the ultrasound room. So ayun, humiga na ako while the technician prepared the machine and turned off the lights.
Una kong nakita sa screen was a 2D image. Then, ginawa nang 4D. Ang hirap makita ni baby! Nakadapa kasi and mukhang natutulog! Mapang-asar yata 'tong bata na 'to!
So ayun, lumabas muna kami ng room and naglakad-lakad. Hehehehe...
Sobrang puno yung cheeks nya. Meron syang cleft chin. And matangos din ang ilong. Salamat naman! Kaso kalbo! Hahahaha!!!
Then, the technician tried to determine the gender of the baby. Kamalas-malasan, dumapa na uli sya. So butt nya ang nakita namin. Hahahaha!!! Siguro sabi nya, "Abuso na kayo ha. Pinakita ko na nga face ko eh. Tama na yon... tutulog na uli ako". Naku! Nagmana pa yata sa mommy nya! Although sabi naman nung technician, it's 80% girl. Sabi nya kasi, kahit butt lang yung nakikita namin, kung boy yung baby... may makikita daw dapat kaming balls kahit papano. Eh wala. Unless, magaling lang talaga si baby magtago.
We were there for 1 1/2 hours. Good thing, wala kaming kasunod na patient. Kaya we really took our time. Super excited kami to show the CD sa parents ko pag-uwi namin... only to find out na we can get it after a day or two. Eh since Friday na, Tuesday pa daw magiging available yung results. Hihihi...
By the way, when we paid for the ultrasound, discounted pa rin pala. Galing! Nakatipid pa rin kami kahit papano.
True to his word, hubby took us (me and baby) shopping after. We bought some more things for baby pero wala yung toy (hihihi...). Next time na lang daw.
When we got home, syempre, todo kwento kami sa parents ko. Sobrang na-excite din sila. Kaso sabi namin, wala pa yung cd. Ayun! Nainis sa amin kasi binitin daw namin sila. Hahahaha!!!
Hay! Now that we've seen our baby, mas lalo kaming naging excited ni Marlon. We can't wait until Caitlin(or Sean) arrives!

Normal or Cesarean Delivery?
Posted by ceztlavie at 3:08 PM
When I found out na nag-move na yung placenta ko away from my cervix (kahit partial lang) and nagkaron ng possibility na mag-normal delivery ako if my placenta continues to migrate, mas natakot ako at kinabahan.
Besides, Marlon and I already decided on a date kung kelan ako manganganak in case ma-CS nga ako.
Tapos, I had this talk with my parents last night. Hahahaha!!!
Kidding aside, they think it will be safer for me to undergo cesarean delivery.
Pero honestly, takot akong mag-normal delivery. Although, mas konti ang gastos pag normal. Hehehe...
Hay! Ano ba talaga?

Another check-up
Posted by ceztlavie at 11:43 AM
I went to see my ob-gyne last Saturday... had my usual checkup. In-ultrasound nya uli ako. She told me na medyo umangat na daw yung placenta ko. I have placenta previa kasi... total. Ngayon, partial na lang daw. If magtuloy-tuloy na mag-move yung placenta ko from covering my cervix, possible na ako mag-normal delivery.

Excited!

I'm having my 4D ultrasound this afternoon at FortMed. We're so excited!
Finally, we'll be able to confirm if we're having a baby girl or a baby boy. Everyone in the family prefers a baby girl. Pero whatever God gives us, we'll be very thankful. As long as the baby is healthy and normal, okay na!
Sino kaya kamukha ni baby? We'll soon find out!

Hachoo! Hachoo! Hachoo!
I have the colds and I don't know where I got it. Ang hirap pa naman to have the colds and be preggy at the same time. I can't just take any medicine without my doctor's consent. So, liquid therapy muna ako in the meantime... been drinking lots of water and juices.
Morning sickness during the third trimester?

Possible ba na bumalik ang morning sickness during the third trimester of prenancy?
I experienced morning sickness during my first 3 months. Ang hirap! 4x a day yata ako nagtho-throw up. Lagi akong hilo. Thankfully, nalampasan ko rin and everything seems to go smoothly.
Pero bakit the past few days, I have been having dizzy spells? Usually in the mornings pa. Parang gusto ko rin mag-throw up.
I'm well into my third trimester... possible nga kaya?
