My dad used to work with an uncle who was into the construction business. They mostly dealt with steel fabrications (e.g., pipes, boilers, etc.) for factories. They put up bids for construction projects with hope that they get those. And when they do win the bids for those projects, they render the contracted work while keeping in mind the risk of not being paid for their services. This is a risk that any construction company faces. Therefore, it is a must for the business to find ways of minimizing such risks.

ProLien is a lien notice company that serves the construction industry and helps companies within the industry to manage the risk of having unpaid accounts. They provide services such as serving preliminary notices and stop notices, making payment demands, etc. They also provide an attorney hotline that gives customers access to an experienced Mechanic’s Lien Attorney.


Perhaps this is one service company that my uncle would want to consider and partner with. I might just mention this to him.
